Global Warming News: Campaign I could get behind

Contestants vying for the Miss Earth 2009 crown pose with placards and plants in their swimsuits in front of press photographers in Manila on November 4, 2009. 87 beauties championing green causes took part in the Miss Earth beauty pageant, with the aim to spread awareness on environmental issues. The winner will be crowned on November 22, 2009 in Boracay Island from among the contestants in 87 countries.
